Breeze to the RideLondon100 Hills.

The 3 hills are: Staple Lane (alongside Newlands Corner), Leith Hill and Box Hill.

ONE-WAY ending at Box Hill and Westhumble train station.

40-45miles, c.2800ft climbing (super hilly)

This is a very Challenging ride which we shall ride easily paced, and at a comfortable speed for all. The route is very beautiful and scenic, and we shall have 2 café stops. These are the Dabbling Duck (20miles) and Box Hill Café (40miles).

ROUTE

Bushy Park, Esher, Cobham, STAPLE LANE, Shere (café 1), Holmbury St Mary, LEITH HILL, Friday Street, BOX HILL (café 2) up and down Zig Zag Road. Box Hill and Westhumble train station.

SPEED

Relaxed and steadily paced. No one left behind.

Own pace on hills, re-grouping at the top/bottom. Unrushed. Re-grouping at junctions.

Strava average speed over the distance likely to be 16-18kph/10-11mph because of so many hills. This means that we shall be riding along substantially faster on flat roads c. 20-22kph/13-14. Pace of slowest, looking out for each other.

Arriving at Box Hill and Westhumble station around 2-2:30pm.
