Let's Ride through Winter to Folkestone Gardens via Deptford Green

This is an easy-going ride to one of our favourite coffee stops, Cafe Hönle in Folkestone Gardens. We will cycle along the Waterlink way as far as Deptford, when we will detour to visit the churchyard of St Nicholas, which is the burial place of Christopher Marlowe the 16th Century playwright. We will also be able to view the interesting carvings on the piers either side of the entrance to the churchyard, which are said to have inspired the skull and crossbones motif so beloved by fictional pirates down the years.
After our coffee stop, we will return via the C10 and Waterlink way.
Please ensure you are dressed appropriately for the weather conditions and that your bike is in good working order with the tyres pumped up.
