This is one of our usual type of easy paced “Lets Go” social rides to the Thamesmead Tor, using quiet roads, paths and parks where possible, we leave Danson park at the Crook log gate navigating the quiet back streets of Welling and Plumstead, crossing Plumstead common to reach Plumstead station using the local cycle paths we pass Broadwater Green and lake St Nicholas to reach the Tor, here we will ride the gentle incline to the top to admire great views across London (depending on the weather) on the return leg we will pass through Gallions park towards Plumstead and across East Wickham open space for the midday return to Danson. There are no major hills, just a few slopes; however, we will wait for all riders. Harry leading. 11.8 miles "All Welcome"
