Leaf, Waterwheel, Lindean and home via Minto

We will cycle to Lilliesleaf turning left passing the sawmill and then right towards the A7. We will use the cycle path and cross over the A7 taking the Hartwood Burn road. Turning right to Selkirk and then left a couple of times to GThe Waterwheel Cafe. We then cycle through Selkirk passing and taking the Shawpark Road to Lindean. We then come home via Minto.

Please note, there is a lot of climbing on this route.

Please do not leave your home to participate in this ride if you or anyone else in your household is displaying symptoms of Covid 19. Physical 2 metre distancing will be practiced as much as possible during the ride. As face coverings are mandatory in shops and public buildings participants should bring their own on the ride.

Our first visit to The Waterwheel Cafe since it has been extended.

Helmets are required and please bring tools/repair kit in case of a puncture. Please also ensure beforehand that your bike is mechanically sound and that you have appropriate clothing for the Scottish weather. Pennies for coffee stop.
