Kirklees Riders - A Tour Of Thornes Park

This Sunday’s ride will start out along the Ossett Greenway to Horbury and then head down Green Lane to Thornes Park.
After a circuit of the park we will return by the reverse route.

This Sunday’s ride will leave The Leggers Inn and go up the Greenway to Ossett before heading for a tour of Thornes Park.

We will travel along a combination of greenways and tarmac roads. We will encounter a reasonable amount of traffic on the tarmac sections so riders will need to be confident in those situations. Mountain bikes or hybrids with off-road tyres are more suited to this ride. Road tyres could struggle in places.

Helmets are mandatory on all Kirklees Riders outings.
