Keith, I Don’t Do Hills, Slightly Lumpy Ride
A ride that appears to have been lost, now found.
Starting from our Burscough pitch at the Farmers Arms, By now re-opened after refurbishment. We will ride towards Clieves Hill then around the back lanes and through the Millenium Green to our lunch stop at Rainford. We will ride up the side of Crank turning towards Skem and up to UP Holland and up again to the Beacon and the race down the other side, around to Newburgh and back to Burscough.
We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together. Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
Please be at the start point at least 15 mins before the ride start time,(9.45) ready to ride, so that we are able to get away at the stated start time of 10.05

Just a couple of lumpy bits at Halsall, Rainford and the Beacon
