Jan's first ride as leader

We will cycle to the cycle path off Woodhill Road and pick up the path running along the back of Woodfields Retail Park, joining Walmersley Road going through to Edenfield, dropping down into Rawtenstall then climbing up towards Helmshore then Holcombe Road and back along Longsite Road back to our start point at the Lamp post.

Hilly and challenging ride up to Edenfield, down to Rawtenstall, on through Helmshore and along Holcombe Hill and back to the start at Burrs for cake and coffee!

The roads are mainly main roads which could be busy. There will be hills, for every uphill there is a downhill

We will stop for regular catch up and any photos you wish to take.

Helmets are strongly advised along with a spare inner tube suitable for your bike and a pump. iIf you would like a coffee and cake or beverage of your choice please bring money with you.
