Starting point

London

We'll ride from the cafe in Roundwood Park along quiet roads, then down Chamberlayne Road and over the canal to North Kensington. We cross Portobello Road and Ladbroke Grove to arrive at Kensington Leisure Centre, next to Grenfell Tower, where we'll have coffee overlooking the pool. We then return mainly along the towpath of the Grand Union Canal, before coming off at Acton Lane and wending our way back to Roundwood Park. This is a very varied route, with moments of calm by the canal and interesting shops through North Kensington. There may be a few puddles along the canal so a hybrid would be better than a road bike.

A ride to Kensington Leisure Centre to celebrate International Women's Day

Most of the route is on quiet roads but there are some moments in traffic, so you need to be a confident rider

We'll stop at Kensington Leisure Centre for coffee and to see their celebrations for IWD 2020

Helmets are optional but please wear comfortable clothing that won't get caught in your bike. Bring water, a bike lock and money for the cafe.

We especially welcome newbies!
