Meeting at The Thistle Hill Community Woodland

Lovely ride along the cycle path to The Kings Ferry Bridge towards Iwade
Cycling along the old A249 to the picturesque village of Iwade
Cycling through Iwade estate to School Lane and continuing towards Bobbing
We join the main road and pass Bobbing primary towards McDonalds
Crossing to the cycle path and taking a pathway to Coldharbour Lane
Looping back to Iwade and returning home

This is a progression ride We will be cycling for 16 miles with no tea stop Allocated water breaks will be made This ride is a progression ride and our aim is to increase our speed whilst building our confidence

1. Cycle helmet is essential, no helmet no ride 2. Eye protection but not essential, be aware of dust & stones from the surface 3. Consideration to bring spare inner tube and a pump 4. Check weather, if necessary consider warm clothing 5. Any necessary mediation 6. Early start so you may want to bring a small snack 7. Contact number for someone who can collect you if you have a breakdown 8. Consideration - light if the weather is looking a little dull or foggy
