Industrial Revolutions - 15 Bridges

This ride utilises dedicated cycle routes in and around Bamber Bridge and Preston Avenham Park. Many of them hark back to the industrial age, but are now surface disused railways and tramways. The route passes though green spaces. There is plenty to keep the children occupied as they are challenged to count how many bridges we pass over or under during the ride.

Please dress for the forecast weather conditions, bring snacks and a drink. It would be helpful if you could also carry a spare inner tube that fits the wheel size of your bike. The Ride Leaders are more than willing to assist with a puncture but can not guarantee they carry an inner tube that will fit all wheel sizes. If you think it appropriate, you can tell the Ride Leader in confidence about any relevant health conditions and you should bring along any medications you may need to take during the ride. If you had any additional needs, please make the ride leaders aware before the start of the ride.

To guarantee a place, it is advisable for adults to create a LetsRide account and book themselves onto the ride. You can add names of any accompanying children when you reach the "Your booked" screen (scroll down, on the left). If the ride is showing as fully booked, you can still turn up on the day - we may well be able to accept you onto the ride if we have enough ride leaders.
