Women's Bicycle Ride - In Search of Scarecrows!

This ride is being run in conjunction with Knighton Community Centre's Health and Wellbeing Day, everyone is welcome but will need to be registered on Let's Ride website with full details prior to the ride. There will also be the chance to have more details about our Breeze rides in the afternoon at the Community Centre.
Our ride starts at Knighton Community Centre where parking is available on a pay and display basis, free parking spaces can be found in Knighton. Our route takes us through Bucknell and on to Brampton Bryan where we can get a coffee at Aardvark Café and return via Stanage Park back to Knighton. Brampton Bryan has itis annual Scarecrow Festival so we can have a cycle round the village and see all the amazing creations that appear each year!
All women are welcome on our rides and no one will be left behind, we cycle at a pace that is comfortable for all and enables us to chat along the way! We have no minimum speed on our rides and aim to keep together as a group while we chat and enjoy the company and beautiful surroundings that we are fortunate to live in. Any uphills can be pushed if needed and stops at anytime if required.

Dress to be comfortable on your bike and to suit current weather conditions, no special clothing is required but something bright makes us more visible to traffic and other road users. Helmets are advisable.
Please bring water or any other refreshment you might need on the ride plus a well-maintained bike, spare inner tube and pump.
