Ice cream in the park

This ride will be traffic free and suitable for women and children. We will ride along the Alban way which is a paved old railway line. This is a ride almost all in shade so perfect for the current weather. We will ride at the pace of the group, and leave no one behind. This will be an easy going ride great for a first ride out, a natter or a recovery ride. We will stop at the cafe in park where we can have ice cream before it gets too hot. The cafe stop is almost at the very end of this ride.

Now for the Covid bit….
Although Covid restrictions have been lifted we are asking all riders to be respectful to the other riders. Please do not attend if you have Covid symptoms or have been in contact with people that have Covid. Please bring a mask and hand sanitiser.


Please remember to bring with you
- Helmet
-Spare inner tubes for your bike and appropriate tools, even if you don't know how to change an inner tube there are other people in the group to help.
-A water bottle with a drink in, cycling can be thirsty work.
- Appropriate clothing for the weather.
- Purse/Wallet/card if you want refreshment at the end.
