WF15 6LW

This is an easy-going 7.5 mile route on the Spen Valley Greenway going from Cleckheaton towards Low Moor, Bradford. This greenway boasts great views and trailside sculptures in a traffic-free environment, starting out at Princess Mary Stadium car park on Bradford Road in Liversedge. The greenway follows the path of the former Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway – keen-eyed individuals can spot the LYR boundary stones and other artefacts from this line. It has recently been converted into a dedicated cycle track, part of Sustrans’ National Cycle Network Route 66, from Dewsbury to Low Moor.

It is all traffic free and suitable for all bikes.

If we have time we sometimes stop for a coffee at the cafe at Low Moor train station

Bikes and helmets can be provided if you don't own one for a small charge of £3.50.

First-timers welcome!
