A lovely easy-going ride on quiet country roads, with a fantastic cake stop halfway. We will ride from Strathaven Park to the Heron Farmshop, stopping for a leisurely cake stop before our return journey.
We will ride at a leisurely pace, with plenty of opportunity to stop and make sure the pace is comfortable for all. This ride is suitable for women returning to cycling, or those who have recently learned and want to build their confidence. Also suitable for more experienced riders looking for a laid-back and sociable ride.
What to bring: Money for cafe stop, and spare tube/puncture repair kit and pump. Helmets to be worn at all times when on the bike, please bring a jacket which is waterproof along with sun protection, you never know when the sunshine or showers will make an appearance!
First-timers welcome!
