Meeting point is inside the car park of Hatch End station. If coming by car there is free parking in Shaftesbury Playing Fields/Harrow Arts Centre which is a short distance from the station. There is an option of meeting at West Harrow Park (free parking) at 8.30 a.m. Please message me if you are starting from West Harrow. The route to Bunny Park is going through Northala Fields, Brent River Park and then to our final stop at Bunny Park in Hanwell. Way back is through the canal (avoiding Horsenden Hill) at Ballot Box bridge coming via Eastcote Lane, Rayners Lane, Imperial Drive to North Harrow, Moss Lane and Little Moss Lane and to our start point. Our coffee stop is at the cafe in Bunny Park. Bring a snack, carry a water bottle and a cycle lock.
Road bikes with thin tyres will not be suitable on this ride. Ensure your bike is in good working condition. Before you come please pump up the tyres and ensure that the wheels turn freely and both brakes work. We cannot fix your bike for you on the ride.
You need to be fairly confident on roads to join this ride. Please do not come on the ride if you or anyone in your household had covid within the last 10 days. There is a slight incline crossing over the bridge and just before arriving at Bunny Park a short incline but otherwise a fairly flat route.
