Harrow Rec Litter Pick Ride

This is a short easy ride to Harrow Recreation Ground to help the park users' association to pick up litter in the park. We can have refreshments from the park cafe afterwards (or you can bring your own), and then ride back to Pinner via Headstone Manor. Gloves, bags and litter pickers are supplied.

Helping the association will make a real difference, as the park has become more popular since lockdown. Please bring hand sanitiser and maintain social distance at all times. Please check that your bike is roadworthy and pump up the tyres before you come. I cannot touch your bike. We will be riding at at least a 1-metre distance and I will brief you fully before we set off so that everyone is safe.

Please do not come on this ride if you have any symptoms of COVID-19.

I'm very sorry to say that although in general over-70s can make their own choice about Breeze rides, in this case Harrow Council's guidelines for volunteering do not allow us to have over-70s on the litter-picking. Not my choice! Hope to see you on another ride soon.

All equipment is supplied - dress for the weather including warm socks and gloves
