Haigh Heights (Artisan Market)

On this ride today, we will stop off at the Artisan Market at Haigh. Please ensure you bring a lock for your bike and a rucksack for any goodies you may wish to purchase

Come and join us on this Breeze Horwich ride. This route takes us on a variety of paths from woodland, canal, country and public park.

We head off from picturesque Rivington and take in the surrounding villages of Anglezarke and Limbrick before we join a canal path through Adlington and onto the Wigan district, Haigh. There is quite a winding climb here until we reach the historic Haigh Hall where we will stop for refreshments before we head back. The next section will take in some quiet country lanes with a couple of inclines. Don't let this put you off, you can always dismount and push.

As always, a helmet is advisable along with a spare inner tube, pump, lock etc but don't worry too much if you don't have the latter. Also please bring along a drink for the ride.
