An easy ride with no hills, largely along quieter lanes and avoiding main roads. Planned start point is Upton and Kexby Village Hall (DN21 5NF) car park, with an alternative, if busy there, also on the High Street in Upton itself near the Methodist Chapel opposite No. 15 (DN21 5NL). We will head South from Upton through Kexby, Willingham, Stow, Sturton, Westwoodside, Saxilby, Broadholme, Harby, Wigsley and North Scarle where we will have a refreshment break at the Tea Rooms. Our route then goes to Eagle, past the Golden Gates to Jerusalem, Skellingthorpe (optional ice cream stop!) Odder, Broxholme, Thorpe and then Stow again before heading North back to the start.
Please bring a helmet and the means to repair punctures. Usual rules apply, nobody is left behind and the average speed will be around 10-12 mph. Meet at 09:30 please for the M Check ready for an 09:45 start.
