Starting point

Lincolnshire
DN20 9RG

Starting from the car park of the Ancholme Leisure Centre, we will ride through Brigg and out towards Wrawby. There is a short hill and a right turn onto a country road where there is a downhill towards a level crossing. At the end of that road we turn left then right onto the road towards Howsham. From Howsham we will head back to Brigg via Cadney and to the cafe.
After a break we will head up the traffic free Ancholme path and over the bridge towards Wressle. We will return to Brigg along a country road before joining the A18 which will take us back to the start.

Route rating

A Graceful Green ride with a variety of different sections along country lanes, the Ancholme path and some roads in Brigg. The speed will be between 10 and 12 mph.

The Ancholme path is traffic free and there are sections along quiet lanes as well as some parts along busier roads around Brigg.

We will stop at Harrison's Hideaway in Brigg after going to Wrawby and Howsham. From there we will head North along the Ancholme path and then back to Brigg via Wressle.

You will need to wear a helmet for this ride and please bring a spare inner tube for your bike . You will need a facemask and some means of contactless payment for the cafe if you would like to purchase any refreshments.

You are welcome on this ride if you are happy with the distance and the speed of 10 to 12mph. We will be riding the route as a group so we will keep together.
