All aboard! choo choo

Heading south, we cycle over to the Manchester district of Irlam where we will stop for a bite to eat (subject to Covid Reg'tions) at a choice of one or two eateries before returning along Port Salford Greenway, along the canal at Bridgewater and back up through the boroughs of Wigan.

There is a mix of cyclepaths on major roads, minor roads, canal paths, cycleways and farm trails. Participants need to be fairly confident cycling alongside and sometimes on fairly busy roads.

Please ensure you carry your own PPE and plenty of snacks and drinks. Don't forget some change for the cafe stop.

Helmets are essential on this ride along with a spare inner tube, tyre levers and a pump.
