Brockholes Nature Reserve

This is an ideal opportunity to enjoy an early evening sunset ride with a qualified ride leader. The ride takes place on a quiet, mainly flat route, mostly on tarmac cycle paths to the beautiful Brockholes Nature Reserve. The route takes us along the banks of the River Ribble following the Guild Wheel, initially passing through the Frenchwood Recreation Area and then onto the Brockholes’s Nature Reserve. Then after a short refreshment break, we retrace our steps and use the same route back to Avenham Park enjoying the sunset. The ride also offers an ideal opportunity to see the variety of wildlife that can be seen on the river.
