Welcome! Our British Cycling Breeze sessions, supported by Safer Roads Humber, are open to all women and take place fortnightly at the Ennerdale Leisure Centre.
Please join us for this one hour session that is completely traffic free and ideal for those wanting to try cycling or get back on a bike if it's been a while. You will be welcomed by Breeze Champions who are there to oversee the session and to offer support and advice if needed.
Feel free to use your hour as you wish but the traffic-free, flat track is a great place for anyone wishing to get back into cycling.
You can ride alone or pair up with someone. You might want try out your new bike. It's a great opportunity to practise movements like hand signals or taking a drink from a water bottle. You might want to practise gear changing. Some women come along to try riding in pairs or groups. You might just want to pedal and chat!
For those new to the venue, the track is situated to the right of the Leisure Centre. Turn right as you enter the car park and drive through to the gate at the entrance to the track. You can park securely next to the track. Toilets are available in the Leisure Centre.
Please check your bike and bring a spare inner tube, bike lights and water. What to wear? Anything comfy, with a waterproof just in case!
We look forward to seeing you at our Ennerdale Breeze sessions. You'll be made very welcome!
