Gentle evening ride - Penarth, Cosmeston and Sully

A lovely ride using quiet roads and cycle paths, across the barrage, up over the wiggles and around Penarth, down to the pier and after a gentle climb back up into Penarth, we cut through to the top of Cosmeston Lakes, to follow the lovely smooth path through the centre. We cross the main road and take St Mary's Well Bay Road down to the Captain's Wife in Sully where we can make a quick stop for refreshments. From there we take the same way back to the main road but then follow the old railway line cycle path back into Penarth, stopping to see the view before descending the wiggles and re-crossing the barrage back to the start point.
