We ride along the Ridgeway traffic free route and then mainly along country lanes through Burton Upon Stather to Alkborough to have a look at the extensive views over Alkborough Flats etc and then to the cafe stop. Returning via Flixborough.
An easy going ride at a pace that allows for a chat enroute, average speed aimed at 8 to 10 mph but as always we go at the speed of the slowest and no-one is left behind. Suitable for first timers to a Guided Ride.
Helmets are recommended, the ride is not suitable for under 13s. Please bring a drink, a spare inner tube and a working pump, a face covering for emergencies and CASH for the cafe stop (cards not accepted).
Suitable for all bike types as tarmac route but road bike riders please note possibility of wind blown debris etc.on the Ridgeway and a short fine crushed slag diversion around the landslip.
