This ride takes place in National Bike Week so join in and give cycling a go!
This ride will be a trip around 3 different parks, on cycle paths, a stretch of towpath, and the rest will be on quiet roads. We will be able to enjoy the lovely signs of early summer including wild flowers and blossom and bright green leaves on this mainly tree-lined route.
We will start in Hazelwell Park, head to Dawberry Fields Park (where we will get a surprising view out of the city to the hills beyond with just a bit of a climb to get there), then will join the towpath to get to Kings Norton Park, where we will ride round the park then return to the canal towpath and back to Stirchley along the Rea Valley route.

As experienced ride leaders we love sharing our knowledge of local cycle paths and offering support for those returning to cycling or who want to increase their fitness. We always ride at the pace of the slowest and no one gets left behind. The ride is suitable for nervous riders, those thinking of returning to cycling and any one else - women only!

Any bike is suitable for this route. Please make sure your bike is roadworthy with tyres pumped up and chain oiled. Bring a pump and a spare innertube. It is a good idea to bring a drink and a small snack. Please wear a helmet and gloves and bring a waterproof jacket.
