Going up through Burnham then Taplow over the Thames by Boulter's lock, passing Cookham into Bourne end then along the old GWR line to Wooburn. Then a stiff climb up to Widmoor and along to Holtspur before descending to Riding Lane and up to Forty Green, through the residential streets of Beaconsfield before crossing the A40 then using another bridlepath to cross the M40 and alongside (offroad) the busy A355 before going back onto quiet lanes to Littleworth common for a well deserved swifty then back via Green Lane to the start point
