Flying Colours Ride from QEOP to Greenwich Woolwich loop

Heading to Greenwich on Tow Paths to Isle of Dogs & foot Tunnel at Island garden to the Cutty sark and return Via South Thames Path, take the Woolwich Ferry or foot tunnel and return via Newham Parks and the Greenway to Stratford.

This a mixed path ride with changing terrain, some temporary structures, main roads and rough ground requiring experienced riders only. It can be challenging if not used to this type of riding so public transport options will be offered if required although the group is very supportive and the pace is steady with an opportunity to enjoy coffee with vistas of Canary Wharf and the City from the south side of the Thames River.

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather including a Helmet and travel light to save energy! Packed lunch, hydrations drinks and snacks to replenish energy levels are popular to save costs and waiting times at refreshment stops. Bring your oyster or travel card for any eventuality.

A hybrid/road bike is recommended. Check that your bike is fully functioning or have it serviced by a qualified mechanic. Tyres should be pumped up to the correct pressure levels to avoid delays. Bring a small pump, spare inner tube, levers, bike tool to release your tyre for possible puncture repair.
