FLAB social rides west riding

Rabbit ings country park through shafton to grimethorpe. Then cycle paths to old moor and trails to Barnsley. After the race ride back to car park using trails and quiet roads.

Tour De Yorkshire ride. Come and soak up the atmosphere of the day, watch the ladies race at old Royston before enjoying a ride down to rspb old moor via grimethorpe for coffee break. After a brief stop we will cycle up the trans pennine trail into Barnsley to enjoy the build up and start for the men's race. Taking in the entertainment being put up by Barnsley and a wonder around the team buses to see the warm up. After the start it's a cycle back to rabbit ings to finish via a short cut.

70 percent traffic free trails with a few necessary roads to link the route together.

Cafe stop at rspb old moor and lunch in Barnsley.

Helmets, suitable clothing for the conditions of the day and money for cafe stops. Plus be prepared to cheer and celebrate the tour.
