FLAB Social Rides Gateshead and South Tyneside - WW1 Tommy Ride

Easy going, fairly flat coastal FLAB social ride

Ride will be a mix of roads and paved cycleways

There will stops for group photos, selfies, and ice cream

We'll be stopping for refreshments somewhere on the route so please remember a face covering and cash/card if you're planning on partaking. Any participants under 16yo must be accompanied by an adult. We request that all riders wear a helmet and in line with current COVID guidelines, please ensure that you have a basic toolkit, spare inner tube, puncture repair kit etc to ensure that you are self sufficient.

Ride down to Seaham to the statue - WW1 Tommy then back to the start up the North East coast with a stop for ice cream by the beach

This will be a mix or road, and cycleways and we will ride in traffic on some of the route

Ice cream stop planned at around 20 miles at either Seaburn or Roker

We never leave anyone behind
