Leisurely 50km ride taking in South Shields, Whitburn, and Sunderland beaches before picking up the cycleway alongside the River Wear to The Northern Spire. Next stop will be Penshaw Monument where we'll stop for coffee and cake before heading back to the start via Boldon and Hedworth.
