Starting from - We'll be setting off from the Pedestrian Tunnel at Jarrow at 7.00am Sharp. There is plenty of free parking here for anyone planning to drive to the ride, NE32 3PF, NE32 3PF

This will be the first real group Gran Fondo, leaving from the tunnel at Jarrow and will follow the River Tyne to Hexham along the South bank then returning along the North bank

The route will be a mix of cycleways and roads following the Keelman's Way out then the Hadrian Cycleway on the return.

As this is a longer ride we'll look at planning in two stops, one at roughly 33km and another at roughly 66km to split the ride in to manageable chunks (stop locations to be confirmed)

Helmets are mandatory on all of our rides. Any riders without helmets will be turned away. All riders should carry a basic toolkit, spare inner tube(s), puncture repair kit etc even if they aren't sure how to use them. There will be plenty of help on the ride from people who do. As always there will be a coffee break so remember a card or cash if you plan to partake
