FLAB social Leicestershire North West - Over the Border to Foremark reservoir

Starting at Sawley Marina where there is ample roadside parking we head down Warren Lane and cross the A50 on the cycle lane into Lockington and Hemington. From here the route gets a bit lumpy as we ride up through Castle Donnington, Isley Walton and Wilson into Melbourne. A bit more uphill into Ticknall and then a nice descent down towards Milton. Half way down the descent we turn into Foremark reservoir main car park to take a break. There is a small cafe here which we will use if it is open but if not we will head to one further on in the route. After a nice break we head back out the entrance and continue our descent into Milton and then turn off to Climb one last small hill past Repton prep school. The route then follows the Trent valley back through Ingleby, Swarkestone (where we may stop if the Foremark is closed), Weston and Aston on Trent, Shardlow and back to the start at Sawley Marina.

This is a no drop ride with a few hills early on. We will regroup at the top of them and nobody will be left behind.
