FLAB social Leicestershire North West- Conkers and Hicks Lodge

Starting from the pay and display car park we will head out around the trails of the Ashby Woulds, taking in Moira Furnace, Conkers circuit & Ashby canal. Approximately 11 mile circuit. After a stop for some lunch at Grounds cafe or a packed lunch if you prefer you can join me on the trails of Hicks Lodge or simply do your own thing. The trails are good gravel surface and nice easy singletrack, suitable for MTB, CX /Gravel bikes or even hybrids. The Blue route is approximately 4 miles in length and I will be doing 2 or 3 laps before heading home.

A gentle ride along the trails of the Ashby Woulds, taking in Moira Furnace, Conkers circuit, Ashby canal and if anyone is feeling adventurous the offroad trails at Hicks Lodge.

Gravel trails and tarmac paths

None planned, unless Grounds cafe at Hicks lodge is open

Please wear a helmet and suitable clothing for the weather. Bring along anything you will need to fix a puncture, some money for parking at Hicks Lodge and any food or drink you might need as the cafe may not be open due to current circiumstances.
