Back to an old favourite for this ride - a jaunt out from Dinton Pastures Country Park to the Velolife Cafe at Warren Row and back again - for those that have done this ride before this is the 'Reverse route' where we go out from Dinton across the road and through the lanes to Shurlock Row and White Waltham before we head north through Knowl hill and onto Warren row and the Cafe. After the stop we go almost completely downhill from Warren Row through Wargrave and Hurst and back to the start at Dinton.

We will take a number of photos before, during and after the ride which will be posted on the Fat Lad At The Back Facebook pages.

If you wish to join us on this ride then please register your interest here, and also join our Facebook page at www.bit.ly/flab_berkshire where any last-minute changes etc are likely to be announced.

For everyones enjoyment and safety please read our ride advice and tips on our Facebook page, and the ‘Lets Ride’ terms and conditions page - Please note that helmets are compulsory on ALL FLAB organised rides.

Note – at this time of year the weather can change quickly, and last-minute changes or cancellations whilst unlikely can occasionally occur – please check our Facebook page before setting off to the meeting point – any last minute changes will posted on the Facebook page by 8am.

Bike Maintenance is crucial for you and the group to enjoy the ride. On route punctures can and will happen, so please be sure you have at least one spare tube and the tools to fix it. You will have plenty of people willing to help, so no need to worry. Also making sure your bike is well maintained will make the ride easier for you and your bike will last longer. Any questions please ask before or during the ride. We will be happy to help.

The Social Bit.
FLAB Social Rides are established to help members of the FLAB community find people to ride with. FLAB Social Rides are coordinated by members of the FLAB community known as FLAMPIONS/FLAMBASSADORS. These people are purely acting as volunteer co-ordinators to help organise FLAB social rides and are not taking on the role of ride leaders. Their sole responsibility is to help coordinate the route, meeting point and start time for FLAB social rides and to promote and support the rides on social media.
FLAB Social Rides are not officially organised, sponsored or insured by FLAB Limited. Although we encourage people to get out and about, improve fitness and take part, these rides are organised on an informal basis and FLAB Limited doesn’t get involved in any assessments of the suitability of any routes chosen or the selection of riders as we would if the ride were an official sponsored ride.

The Legal Bit.
Riders who are minors (under 16) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising, and ensuring the safety of, minors in their party as well as looking out for their own health and safety and that of other riders throughout the ride.
Riders therefore take part at their own risk and are strongly encouraged to ensure they wear suitable personal protection equipment, that their machines are properly serviced and in good condition, and to arrange their own personal insurance arrangements. In particular, riders must make their own assessment of the suitability of the proposed route in light of the ability and fitness level of every person in their party.
