FAT LAD AT THE BACK (TAMAR) PLYM VALLEY TRAIL - BEGINNER RIDE

This route explores the traffic free path along the Plym Valley Trail towards Dartmoor.  See the outstanding natural beauty of this charming area which passes Bickleigh and farm lands up to Clearbrook where you return via the same path. 

 

THE PLYM VALLEY TRAIL route 27 Mostly a quite traffic free route from coypool park and ride to clearbrook with a small section of road riding on the way to yelverton.

Most of this ride is traffic free, part a small but quite road section at clearbrook on our way .to yelverton .

unfortunately no cafe or pub stops due to covid 19 restrictions we will stop for a group chat and drink breaks on route .

ALL FAT LAD RIDES REQUIRE PARTICIPANTS TO WEAR A SUITABLE BIKE HELMET. NO HELMET NO GROUP RIDE . Please make sure your bike is in good condition & well serviced . On your bike you should bring - spare inner tubes ,multi tool ,pump and punture kit . we also recommend you bring with you a small amount of money , light food snacks , full water bottle and wind / water proof jacket .
