Meeting at Balgreen tram stop we will ride mainly paths to Russell Toad , Gorgie Road , along the canal path and then to the Meadows . From the Meadows we will join the Innocent Railwday then continue to follow paths to Joppa. We will then join a small section of main road before turning right to Portobello Promenade where we will stop for a well deserved refreshment .
Our return route will be slightly different as we will make our way across Portobello High Street , through some cycle paths and residential streets before joining the cycle path and up through the Innocent Railway tunnel leading to our start and finish point .
