Starting point

Derbyshire
DE72 3EN

Setting off from the main car park at Elvaston Castle we will leave via the traffic free tracks through the beautiful grounds of this historic estate. We will pass through local villages, and more traffic free paths to reach Melbourne Tea Rooms, then return via a shorter route.
This ride is most suited to hybrid bikes but any will do. The trails can get muddy if the weather is bad.
Please wear a helmet, and bring a puncture repair kit, and spare inner tube in case of emergency. Please make sure your bike is in a roadworthy condition - the tyres are pumped up and the brakes work.
You'll need to carry a drink, and bring some money for a cuppa and snack at the tea rooms. But mostly you'll need to bring a smile, and be prepared to have some fun!!
