Usual easy-paced 10 mile ride on mostly quiet streets and paths. Propose to ride clockwise. Start across to Peckham Rye Park then over the hill at Nunhead and down to the Waterlink Way at Ladywell Fields, Follow the delightful off-road Waterlink Way (Nat Route 21) for nearly 2 miles to Lower Sydenham. Continue on quiet streets to Cator Park followed by a loop through Penge to Crystal Palace Park. Have to check out the dinosaurs, then up the hill to Crystal Palace Parade. Steep in places, but plenty of time to walk stretches if necessary (you will not be the only one doing this!). Finish with a delightful run downhill back to Dulwich park. Finishing at 12.30 to give time for a coffee break.
Note about Eventbrite registration. This is to allow us to limit numbers as we post information to several locations. If you do register here you may get a confirmation. I am afraid this does not over-ride the Eventbrite registration. If Eventbrite says the ride is full, then that is correct. You can join the Wait List on Eventbrite. Remember we ride every week and if you want early notification then join our Google Group, https://groups.google.com/g/healthy-riders. This ride is organised by Southwark Cyclists, and is part of a regular programme of Saturday rides, more information at https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/healthy-rides/. Southwark Cyclists are part of the London Cycling Campaign. This ride is organised by volunteers. If you have any feedback, good or bad, please get in touch with [email protected].
