We will ride to Greenwich on the Waterlink way and then C10 as far as Deptford High Street where we hope to catch a glimpse of Little Amal.
There will be a coffee stop at Cafe Honle in Folkestone gardens. This is a flat route on mainly traffic free or quiet roads, and one road which may be busy. There are also a couple of busy junctions. The roads around Deptford are likely to be very busy with pedestrians so we will need to take extra care.
Please call the leader, Jacqui Turner on 07456840924, if you have booked but there are problems on the day.

The Walk is an ambitious international travelling festival of art and hope in support of refugees. At the heart of The Walk is Little Amal, a 3.5 metre-tall puppet of a young refugee girl, created by the acclaimed Handspring Puppet Company. Amal’s search for her mum takes her on an epic journey from the Turkish-Syria border, right across Europe and her first stop in London will be Deptford High Street.
