Debenham

Leaving Northgate sports centre we take local roads to Westerfield then follow the B1077 country road through Witnesham, Ashbocking & Helmingham out to Debenham. In Debenham we turn left into Gracechurch street and continue on local country roads to Mickfield where we cross the A140 and continue on to Saxham street. Here we turn left and continue onto a short stretch of the A1120 where we turn left into Creetings lane. Following country lanes through to the B1078 where we turn left and follow to old Norwich rd. Continue along and up bus hill then follow local estate roads back to finish.

This is a mainly rural route on scenic country roads out to Debenham and returning via a different route. It will be at a speed of 12-14 mph with a no drop policy. Meeting point is Northgate Sports centre

The route uses mainly rural roads which should have light traffic. There may be some gravel/run off on some smaller roads. Due to number of climbs road bikes are recommended, though a hybrid with road tyres could be used.

We will be making 1 main stop in Debenham for refreshments. Other stops for drink etc may be made as necessary.

Riders are recommended to wear helmets and bring drinks and sufficient money for any additional refreshments. Spare tubes for any punctures is recommended.
