The ride is along country lanes and main roads. The journey starts at the cyclopark and goes along a B road along to New Barn. We then take the pretty country lanes to Hartley Bottom Road towards Trosley. There is some short hill climbing from Stansted village up to Fairseat. We then meet the A227 for a short distance to Trosley Park. Here we will stop for refreshments. The route then takes back to Meopham; we then travel along the A227 towards Gravesend. Along this main road the speed limit is between 30-40 miles and the traffic is not heavy. After Meopham we take a turning at Nurstead, back onto country lanes towards the cyclopark. The route is mostly undulating, but there are a couple of short steep hills.
