Starting point

West Midlands
B20 2BZ

It is not a race I try to ride at a comfortable pace but we will find some slight hills to go up and down. Also if the forecast is for 75% or more for rain I will not run the ride as we are going to be mixing with traffic at times and my responsibility is your safety. Current driving standards in our area are pretty bad in the dry, they are worse in the rain. I may try to offer a second route option we can use that keeps us away from drivers as much as possible but this could mean riding along the canal tow paths. I'll try yo contact participants by text the evening before the ride to give you further details etc but please watch out for emails etc just in case.

From Handsworth through Smethwick to Quinton and then through Woodgate Valley to Selly Oak and the end of the blue bike routes and back through Newtown via the city centre and following the blue routes and back to the Well Being Centre

The idea of this route is to provide an interesting ride around Handsworth taking in some local attractions

This route will be a mixture of road and shared path. Its not a race. Also I will not run ride if the weather is highly 75% or more for rain its just no fun for anyone is it.

At this time stops aren't built in as the ride is quite short but we can always work some in if need be

Please bring along clothes to suit the weather a drink and a spare tube and pump that fits your bike and wheels Before coming to the ride ensure: -You are confident with your cycling skills -Your equipment is in good working order -Pack spare inner tubes, snacks and water -If you need to cancel, please do so with sufficient time at least a day before the ride to give a chance for somebody else to take your spot.

First-timers welcome!
