Up through Greenwich Park (walking allowed), across Blackheath to Kidbrooke. Pick up Quietway 1 and follow this past Well Hall Pleasaunce, along Rochester Way to Falconwood. Leave Q1 and continue parallel to Rochester Way pretty much to Danson Park. Coffee stop at Old Stables. Back via Welling High St, then turning south to Plumstead High St and down to last section of the Ridgeway. Negotiate the Plumstead mega-roundabout and on to Woolwich waterfront. Finish along Thames path back to Cutty Sark. 20 miles. Lots of path and quiet street, but some moderately busy roads as well. Usual easy pace, should be a doddle over 3.5 hours.
This is a Southwark Cyclists Healthy Ride, part of our regular series of Saturday morning rides, for more see www.healthyrider.weebly.com

Interesting route exploring territory heading southeast to Danson Park in Bexley.

As far as possible quiet streets and paths. Route suitable for all types of bike.

Several short stops at places of interest plus one longer coffee stop in Danson Park.

Just yourself and your bike.

First-timers welcome!
