We start the ride by cycling along the Waterlink Way to Beckenham Place Mansion. We then follow the A21 cycle path, which takes us to High Elms Country Park, where we stop for a refreshment break. We then continue to Downe and past Charles Darwin's House. We then follow some of the switchback roads which can be found in the vicinity of Cudham and Knockholt, and then make a steep descent southwards from the North Downs using the quietest of the descending roads. This takes us to the peace and calm of the Pilgrim's Way and Chevening. We then return to Cutty Sark Gardens via Orpington, the Chislehurst Caves, Eltham and Kidbrook.
