We meet for this ride at Cutty Sark Gardens and start by cycling out eastwards along the Thames Path, making use of the new "missing link" section, which takes us to Woolwich.

We then join the recently refurbished Ridgeway cycle path, which now includes a Bexley section, out to Southmere Lake and Lesnes Abbey. We then make our way through Erith, Dartford and past Bluewater out to Nell's Cafe (https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g580415-d3682619-Reviews-Nell_s_Cafe-Gravesend_Kent_England.html), where we stop for lunch from about 1pm to 1.40pm.

After lunch we will cycle to Upnor, Donkey Hill and Rochester, where the ride finishes.

There are fast trains back from Rochester Station to Bromley South and Vistoria. Alternatively you can join those who want to cycle back to back to Woolwich.

Ride Leader: Nigel Bee (tel: 07415 315 690, email nigel.bee@cyclistsinsouthwark.org.uk ).
