Lovely ride from Hailey Park up the traffic free Taff trail through Tongwynlais and Nantgarw, (some short on-road sections) then back on the cycle route and another on-road section through a residential area into Caerphilly. It's a steady, undulating uphill ride not that steep and not all the time. We will stop at Caerphilly castle for (approx 30 mins) Then retrace our tracks back to Hailey Park.
Surface is tarmac most of the way, with tree roots in places, suitable for all bikes.
Please wear a helmet and come prepared to fix issues on your bike yourself if at all possible, ie pump, spare tube, tyre levers etc.
