2 start choices: Leaving Stithians Watersports carpark at 9.00, through Porkellis, passing Poldark Mine then cutting off main road after about 50 m then downhill to Gweek to meet those wishing to start in Gweek at bottom of Chapel Hill outside Classic Boatyard at 09.45am (please park behind The Black Swan in Gweek).
Upward climb then along busy B3293 then turning right at Zoar Garages for easy going ride through lovely lanes into Coverack but final descent is VERY steep.
Loo stop as we leave Coverack, up a long hill with steepish incline, back to Gweek. For those returning to Stithians another long climb up Chapel Hill.
All good for the legs, and good for the soul!

Usual Cornish mixture of hills and lanes, but with novelty of some long flats to get some speed up.

The B3293 can be quite busy with fast traffic at this time of year, otherwise we will be on fairly quiet roads and lanes.

Table booked at 10.45am at Harbour Lights Cafe in Coverack (highly recommend pancakes pancakes w/fresh fruit, maple syrup and Greek yoghurt!). No toilets at Cafe but public loos available at each end of Coverack.

Please bring helmets, water, sun screen/rain jacket as required and card preferably for payment at coffee stop. Decent brakes are a must as descent into Coverack is very steep!

We never leave anyone behind
