Starting point

Swansea
SA1 3RD

A 40+ mile (64+ km) ride from Swansea to Henrhyd Waterfall (near Ystradgynlais) and back. The vast majority of the route is along a direct, well maintained, traffic free path, formerly a railway line, with gentle gradients. The remainder is on minor roads.

We will stop for a good rest at Henrhyd Waterfall, and there will be an opportunity to buy supplies and refill water bottles on the way out and back at Ystalyfera (13.5 miles from Swansea, 7.5 miles from Henrhyd Waterfall).

This is a long ride for an infrequent rider. If in doubt, start out with one of the easier rides in the series. It is probably too far to ride on a Santander bike.

We never leave anyone behind.

You need to bring a bicycle in good working order and a helmet. We will carry out a brief check before starting, but advise you to carry this out in advance (we will not be able to make repairs).
