Join Angela and Janet for this very nice Coast to Countryside ride. Starting in Hampton Pier Avenue Car Park, we ride along the coast of Herne Bay out towards the small villages/hamlets on the outskirts of Herne Bay - Hoath, Maypole, Chislet before turning onto the Grove Road. From here we continue in the countryside through Preston, Elmstone and Guilton before entering the beautiful village of Ash where we will stop at Juliet's Farm Shop for refreshments. On leaving Juliet's, we make our way back to Herne Bay via Ware, Preston, Plucks Gutter, St Nicholas-at-Wade and Reculver.

*** If you want to join the ride, but not do the whole mileage, there is the opportunity to join the ride at Grove Ferry, but please note that on the return journey when the ride gets back to Preston, those who joined from Grove Ferry will have to make their own way back from Preston.**** Please contact the ride leader if you wish to do this.

Cycling through beautiful countryside during a time when the seasons are changing, you will appreciate why Kent is regarded as the Garden of England.
