Starting from - We start from Cage A on Mannaberg Way in Scunthorpe . There is plenty of parking and facilities available . Please make sure that you bring a spare inner tube, puncture repair and pump that works on your bike . Helmets are strongly recommended. Finally please bring money ( cash / card) if you want to buy food and drinks at the cafe stop. DN15 8XF. Please arrive for 0915 for M Check

The ride must adhere to the current social distances rules . It is advised that all riders carry a face mask/ face covering with them . This may be needed in the event of an accident and maybe also to get served at the cafe stop

This ride is a Challenge 40+ ride Do you have a road bike? Do you have a basic repair kit and spare inner tube to fix any punctures or carry out minor repairs if needed? Are you comfortable cycling 30 miles+ at an average speed of 13-15mph? If the answer to ALL of these is YES, then this ride should be perfect for you! If not, why not think about trying some of our 'Steady' or shorter 'Challenging' rides first so you can build your confidence and fitness?

Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

We go through Flixborough, Gunness , Burringham , Messingham , Greetwell and then on to the Brandy Wharf loop to take us to Claytons for the cafe stop. After the stop we head through Brigg and then to Wrawby and on to Ermine Street to Appleby where we pick up the road Lower Risby to the top road and the down to the start
